We're delighted to share that The Sound of Serotonin was recently featured on Resonance FM, where Professor Parastoo Hashemi discussed the project and its innovative approach to transforming serotonin recordings into music.
During the interview, Professor Hashemi highlighted how the project combines neuroscience, bioengineering, software development, and creative science communication to make complex neurochemical data more accessible and engaging. The conversation also touched on the project's journey from a third-year student group project to an interactive public engagement exhibit at the Great Exhibition Road Festival.
The interview aired on Resonance 104.4 FM and is also available via the Resonance FM website. It offers a great insight into the inspiration behind The Sound of Serotonin and the value of using sonification as a novel way to communicate neuroscience.
We are proud to see the project continuing to reach new audiences and spark conversations about innovative approaches to science communication.
