Congratulations to Pablo Prieto Roca on Two Outstanding Achievements

We are delighted to congratulate our very own Pablo Prieto Roca on receiving the Imperial College Union Award for Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant and on winning the Faculty of Natural Sciences (FoNS) Lightning Thesis Competition.

In his first year as a PhD student and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London, Pablo has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to teaching, supporting Master's students in Computational Neuroscience and Probability & Statistics through engaging tutorials, personalised guidance, and the development of additional learning resources.

His dedication to student learning has been recognised with the Union Award for Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant, a well-deserved honour celebrating excellence in teaching and mentorship.

Alongside this achievement, Pablo also won the FoNS Lightning Thesis Competition, showcasing his ability to communicate complex scientific research in a clear, engaging, and accessible way.

These accomplishments reflect Pablo's passion for both research and education, and we are incredibly proud to see his contributions recognised across the College.
